Sanyo will be demonstrating a solar powered CCTV system at IFSEC that can be installed virtually in the middle of nowhere as it does not need to rely on an external electricity supply.
"What makes this possible is that we are able to use Sanyo manufactured solar panels which are acknowledged to be among the most efficient in the world," says Andy Aitchison, Sanyo's national sales manager "Long term covert surveillance is just one of the applications that could benefit from our solar panelled CCTV system."
Also on display on the Sanyo stand will be the full range of cameras equipped with pan focus optics. Pan focus utilises a unique technology that enables a camera to focus on all objects in the field of view. With a huge depth of field, clear images are consistently generated without any need to adjust the focus.
