Risk mitigation in focus in Dubai

Dubai, U.A.E

Cortech will be addressing the theme of managing disparate technologies across multiple sites is a recognised risk and offering their thoughts on the latest smart integration techniques at the forthcoming Intersec exhibition in Dubai, 22-24 January 2017.

Commenting on Cortech’s presence at the show, Phil Witts, Managing Director at Cortech Developments Middle East (based in Dubai) said, “Educating the market is a fundamental part of our strategy in the Middle East and Intersec provides the perfect platform to achieve this. By understanding the challenges faced by organisation’s managing multiple technologies aligned with an appreciation of their strategic objectives, we are able to deliver value and manage expectations.”

Cortech recently launched their first Cortech Open Innovation Event (COIE) in the Middle East with close to 60 delegates gathering at the Hormuz Grand Hotel in Muscat, Oman. This centred on how to mitigate risk for workplace safety, high security and building efficiency. Witts added, “Events provide an educational platform for direct engagement and discussion around technology and industry challenges. Cortech see Intersec as an opportunity to educate end users, consultants and integrators as to how the latest integrated solutions assist in meeting regulatory requirements, reducing cost and risk, while enhancing situation awareness and operational efficiency.”

Software demonstrations will be undertaken during the days of the show, featuring Cortech’s main software product Datalog 5 and the recently released Datalog MV. The latter reduces the risk associated with the management and operation of multiple CCTV systems.
