Optelecom NKF demonstrates industry firsts at Intersec Dubai

Dubai, U.A.E

Optelecom-NKF Inc. is participating at the Intersec 2011 trade show in Dubai, U.A.E from the 16th to 18th January 2011, this week. At the show the company will be demonstrating two industry firsts plus their full range of Siqura surveillance solutions and video and surveillance equipment.
Optelecom NKF will show the first direct to fibre IP PTZ security camera. Due to the ubiquitous nature and the advantages of fibre optic networks, as well as the current migration from analogue to IP streaming, Optelecom-NKF is now offering its Siqura IP PTZ dome security cameras with a fibre optic connector option. This feature simplifies both the setup and maintenance of roadside camera installations where a fibre network is utilised to overcome long distance limitations.

In addition, the comany will be showing the first ever AID video server. The now well-known and award-winning Siqura Trafficserver will also be on exhibit. This innovative product is the first video server ever to be integrated with automatic incident detection (AID) technology.

“At Optelecom-NKF, we create innovative and reliable video surveillance solutions according to our customers’ needs,” explains Fabien Haubert, Optelecom-NKF’s Senior Sales Director for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). “We are flexible and we work closely with customers on site to design and deploy the optimal system. This is something that really sets us apart. We are eager to show attendees at Intersec 2011 just how flexible we are and how hassle-free life can be when you’re working with Siqura surveillance solutions.”
