GTT opens New England offices

Global Traffic Technologies, GTT, is expanding its service offering in the US states of Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine, with the opening of GTT New England, the authorised Opticom and Canoga dealer in the region. GTT New England will provide new and existing customers throughout the area with improved access to Opticom and Canoga solutions.

"This is a key step for GTT, in that it enables exciting options for improving the way traffic flows in our customers' communities," said Chris Chambers, General Manager, Corporate Dealerships. "Our brands have a history that goes back more than 45 years and this is our chance to strengthen the value we've always delivered with the addition of services that complete the solution."

As a recognised leader in the industry, Opticom emergency and transit solutions and Canoga traffic-sensing solutions are deployed at more than 70,000 intersections, in 70,000 vehicles and 3,100 cities worldwide, including 41 of the 50 largest North American cities.

As a fully authorised Opticom and Canoga dealer, GTT New England will be responsible for selling and servicing the entire line of Opticom and Canoga solutions. Additionally, GTT New England will receive consultative support and in-the-field service from Global Traffic Technologies, LLC, the manufacturer of Opticom and Canoga.
