ICOP Digital has recently been awarded purchase orders from two U.S. Military bases.
More specifically, the company received a USD 240,000 purchase order from one of the largest United States Army bases in the country, providing for ICOP to fully equip the base's law enforcement fleet with ICOP Model 20/20-W digital in-car video systems. ICOP also processed an initial USD 42,000 purchase order for in-car video units from a base in the Northeastern U.S. providing installation support to the Army National Guard and the U.S. Army Reserve. Since late July of this year, ICOP has processed orders from four major U.S. military bases. Cumulative sales to these new customers has totaled approximately USD 620,000, thus far, representing revenue that will be recognized in third quarter reporting period ended September 30, 2008.
Dave Owen, chairman and CEO, stated, "Following a rigorous competitive bidding and product evaluation process, ICOP is very pleased to once again be distinguished by the U.S. Military as its chosen supplier of digital in-car video surveillance systems. Marking the third and fourth fleet deployments by American military installations in the past 90 days, we take tremendous pride in the fact that our nation's valued military defense forces are teaming with ICOP to help enhance post security and the public safety of its soldiers, civilian workers, residents and visitors."
