LTE technologies have become the driving force for remote management of cameras or NVR’s in real time in the transport sector, on buses or trucks for example. The new Airlive LTE Gateway, VH-4GW can be powered by DC power sources from within the vehicle.

VH-4GW is able to provide Internet services inside the bus or truck and it can connect IP cameras for live viewing from the central office. In most existing solutions, managers are able to only know the cause of an accident after viewing the NVR footage after the bus has stopped. With the VH-4GW, managers are able to see the accident in real time and respond immediately.

The VH-4GW also has a built-in GPS module to offer location information. This allows the central office to track the location of the vehicles, which can in turn help to reduce management costs.
