Airlive launches Unmanaged PoE+ switch Series

Taipei, Taiwan

Airlive has recently launched a new series of  PoE switches.

According to research, the majority of network problems are caused by lack of PoE power when all ports are in use. Those power switches offering a lower power supply may be economic in terms of upfront cost, but will potentially result in additional extra costs on added maintenance and upkeep services. These will bring up the total cost of the entire system to higher than planned over the long run, not to mention less up time.

Nothing is more important than stability and reliability when it comes to choosing a PoE switch, Airlive has therefore focused on the single solution development.  Their unmanaged PoE switch series delivers both data and power over Ethernet cable to PoE devices such as IP cameras, IP phones, and wireless AP. Each model within the series provides full power of at least 15 watts per port reliably when all PoE ports are in use. Supporting both 802.3at and 802.3af standards, the unmanaged PoE switches can provide up to 30 watts per port, which is twice the power of those running to the older 802.3af standards.

The new Airlive unmanaged PoE switch series is also completely backward compatible with 802.3af devices. Some models also feature fibre uplink ports for long distance or cross-floor connections. The POE-GSH604ATU and POE-GSH1008ATU have a built-in SFP port for optional SFP fibre modules; fibre is immune to cross talk interference for inter-floor connections. They have been designed to provide simplicity, reliability and effectively minimize the long term ownership cost of a network facility.
