Airlive secures network connectivity at high temperatures

Taipei, Taiwan

Airlive is introducing its Industrial Managed Ring and Unmanaged Industrial PoE Switch Series, an industrial-grade of switches, providing non-blocking wire-speed performance and great flexibility for Ethernet extension in harsh environments including high temperatures.

The Airlive Industrial Switch series is equipped with an IP30/31 rugged strong case with redundant 48V ~56Vdc power system, wider temperature range from -40°C ~ 75°C supported. These Industrial Switches are well suited for applications in deploying street surveillance systems, securing access control and wireless services in climatically demanding environments such as factories or public transportation.

Airlive Ring Managed Industrial PoE switches are designed for mission critical environments such as factories, traffic lights or the energy industry. In the event of a network device failing, the Airlive Ring switch can provide recovery speeds of less than 20ms that is much faster than a conventional RSTP switch which takes around 10 sec. The fast recovery time fully ensures that the network continues to operate without disruption. Moreover, the series supports a "Chain" function with which you can expand an established networking system easily.

With the 802.3at/af PoE data ports on the switches supplying power directly to the connected network devices, even up to a max of 30W per port which is suitable for most PTZ cameras and other devices giving more flexibility to the user in the areas of deployment.

The available switches offer RJ45 and SFP ports (10/100 and Gigabit) for full connectivity. There are SFP modules and media converters also available from Airlive.
