Presidential debate monitored for live aerial attacks

The U.S. Presidential Debate held on October 19th at the UNLV Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, was the first such debate monitored not only for ground threats but also aerial threats, by using Spotter RF’s new award-winning A2000 CSR created especially for monitoring low-flying UAVs (drones).

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) deems presidential debates to be National Special Security Events (NSSE), as they may be a potential target for terrorism or other criminal activity.

The Hard Rock Hotel in Riviera Maya receives celebrities from all over the world, including couples celebrating anniversaries and families enjoying their vacation. The property covers 37 hectares and can host up to 3,800 guests in its 1,264 bedrooms. Additionally, several events are held at the hotel, from concerts to private celebrations, making the hotel a very crowded place.

Infracontrol & Sensit control traffic access at key port

The Port of Gothenburg has created a new common entrance for truck traffic called Port Entry. The aim is to provide a better reception and a more efficient flow of traffic through the harbour. To create a smooth traffic flow and make it easier for drivers to park their trucks, the parking management system of Infracontrol has been implemented. Nedap’s Sensit installed at the parking bays in combination with a dynamic sign guide drivers to an available parking bay.
