Ajan Lukko is a well-established family business founded in 1970 and run by the second-generation entrepreneurs Ari Karjalainen, Esa Karjalainen, and Mia Toivonen who have been successfully running the company since they took over the business in 1987. The company was founded as traditional locksmith, but has over time transitioned into a full-service provider with a one-stop-shop offering including products and services within locking solutions, door phones, access control, door automation, fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV.

The company has demonstrated a solid track-record of profitable growth, and over the years they have established a leading market position with a strong brand and reputation. Sales is primarily driven by a focus on aftermarket and service with recurring business from a broad customer base with longstanding relationships within the public sector, housing associations, real estate companies, and construction companies. With a strong pipeline and a few recent key recruitments, the momentum is strong, and the company is ready to meet a growing demand in the market. During the last fiscal year, the company delivered sales of approximately 4.5 million euros with 26 employees, operating from the company headquarters in Tampere.
