The 2006 Conference in Nice attracted 500 security professionals, corporate executives, consultants, and law enforcement officials from 47 countries.

"Security Management - the Way Forward" will feature 44 educational sessions. Presentations developed by and for security professionals will cover the entire spectrum of security topics ranging from supply chain security and piracy to terrorism and IPR protection. It will be a unique opportunity to connect with both public and private sector leaders from around the globe and to discover how they are confronting today's security challenges.

Three high-level keynote speakers will address the participants : Mr Otto Schily, MdB former German Federal Minister of the Interior from 1998 - 2005 , Brigadier Ian Abbott ,OBE serving Army officer with a unique knowledge of global threats and Mr Robert Benninga , leading authority in the field of Human Peak performance and Change Management.

Delegates will also attend networking events such as the SRVP Welcome Reception at the InterContinental Hotel, as well as the President's Reception at the Museum of Communication. The conference will conclude on Wednesday 28 March with the European Person of the Year 2007 award ceremony.
